Government expands Jermuk Group’s import duty exemption

The company will import additional equipment and raw materials under its investment program.

At its September 24 meeting, the Armenian government approved a Ministry of Economy proposal to expand a previously granted import duty exemption for Jermuk Group CJSC.

Under the decision, the company plans to import additional equipment worth 215 million drams and raw materials worth 656.9 million drams without paying import customs duties.

To do so, the government will amend its June 4, 2026 decision, which had already granted the company duty-free treatment for technological equipment, its parts, raw materials and supplies imported under Jermuk Group’s investment program.

Following the additional imports, the total value of goods covered by the program will reach 4.3 billion drams. The customs duty exemption granted for those imports is estimated at 270.7 million drams.
