YEREVAN, August 7. /ARKA/. The market capitalization of stocks in July 2026 exceeded 426 billion drams, reported the press service of the Armenian Stock Exchange (AMX).
It was noted that the volume of stock trading in the reporting month amounted to over 207.4 million drams, with 250 transactions concluded.
Bonds
The total volume of government bond auctions on the primary AMX platform in July exceeded 87.1 billion drams. On the secondary market, 70 transactions were made with a volume of over 25.8 billion drams, which exceeds the figure for the same period last year by 759%.
In July, the volume of trading in corporate bonds increased by 118% compared to the same period last year, amounting to over 16.5 billion drams.
During the reporting period, 1,798 transactions were concluded for 208 corporate bonds traded on the exchange at the end of July.
Repo transactions
The total volume of repo transactions exceeded 32.1 billion drams. In July, 218 repo transactions were concluded, which exceeds the figure for the same period last year by 548%.
Currency market
In June, the AMX currency platform conducted a conversion of US dollars amounting to over 779.2 million drams across 6 transactions. Throughout the month, the exchange rate fluctuated between 367 and 367.9 drams.
