Junius financial tournament concludes

According to IDBank, the initiative helped children build practical financial skills.

YEREVAN, September 18. The Junius financial tournament, popular among children, has come to an end, IDBank said. The initiative used a game-based format to introduce participants to the basics of personal finance management.

According to the bank, children learned how to manage and save money, identify modern types of financial fraud and protect themselves against them, and use digital financial tools effectively.

Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and Sustainability at Idram and IDBank, said participation increased with each new round and new children continued to join the tournament. She added that some “veteran” participants took part in every game and consistently aimed to stay among the leaders.

Vardevanyan noted that under the rules, after a first win a participant cannot be named a winner again for the next three months and receives only an incentive prize. Even so, she said, some participants again received encouragement awards this round and were sincerely pleased with them.

The company says the growing interest and enthusiasm among children, along with the knowledge they gained, confirms Junius as a strategic initiative aimed at helping build a financially literate generation. The tournament is available through the Idram Junior app.

The Idram Junior app is designed for users aged 8 to 16. It allows children to use cashless funds, make contactless payments, save money and improve financial literacy, while giving parents a modern and secure way to monitor their children’s financial transactions.

The company is regulated by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
