Junius Financial Tournament concludes

The initiative in the Idram Junior app teaches children how to manage money wisely and use digital tools safely.

The Junius Financial Tournament, which has attracted strong interest among children, has come to an end. Held in an interactive and fast-moving format, the initiative helped participants learn how to manage and save money wisely, identify and protect themselves from modern financial scams, and make effective use of digital financial tools.

Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Communication and Sustainable Development Department at Idram and IDBank, said the tournament had a clear positive impact on participants. She noted that the number of children joining the competition grew with each new round, with new participants entering every time.

According to Vardevanyan, the tournament also had its own “veterans” — children who took part in every game and consistently aimed to rank among the leaders. She recalled that under the rules, once a participant wins, they cannot be named a winner again for the following three months and are eligible only for an encouragement prize. Even so, some children who received encouragement prizes this time were genuinely happy with those awards as well.

The company says children’s growing interest, enthusiasm and newly acquired knowledge show once again that the Junius Financial Tournament, available through the Idram Junior app, is a strategic initiative. It is intended to help shape a financially literate generation and build a foundation for future success.

The Idram Junior app is designed for users aged 8–16. It allows children to use cashless payment methods, make contactless payments, save money and build financial literacy, while giving parents a modern and secure way to monitor their children’s financial activity.

The company is supervised by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
