On August 20, a ceremony was held at Yerevan's Zvartnots International Airport to resume the Tabriz-Yerevan flight after a two-year hiatus. The resumption of this flight was supported by the Iranian embassy in Yerevan.
The Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami, who attended the event, stated that the resumption of the Tabriz-Yerevan flight is an important step towards developing the tourism sector and strengthening ties between the two countries. He also emphasized its role in creating the necessary infrastructure for expanding trade cooperation between Iran's northwestern provinces and the Republic of Armenia.
