Idram turns team game into charity projects

The company’s “City of Good Deeds” initiative is designed to support six social priorities.

Idram has held this year’s annual team-building event under the theme “City of Good Deeds,” linking it to practical corporate social responsibility projects. According to the company, the initiative is aimed at supporting six areas: environmental protection, children with health problems, orphanage residents, elderly people, equal opportunities, and vulnerable animals.

Hundreds of employees took part in the event and were split into teams. By completing a series of physical and intellectual challenges, the teams earned points in the form of idcoins and then allocated those points among boxes representing the six priority areas.

After the event, Idram will convert all collected idcoins into Armenian drams at a set rate and channel the funds into projects in those six areas. In this way, the outcome of the team game is expected to turn into direct charitable support.

Astghik Zilfimyan, Head of Human Resources Management at Idram, said it is important for the whole team to feel part of the company’s policy and strategy. She noted that Idram has an established tradition of involving its full staff in social responsibility projects several times a year, and that this time the entire team-building event was built around the company’s six CSR priorities.

The company says the foundation of the “City of Good Deeds” has now been laid, and the one-day collaborative format is set to turn into concrete social projects in the near future.
