Idram’s annual team-building event this year was held under the theme “City of Good Deeds” and, according to the company, stood out for its practical purpose. The format was designed to turn teamwork into direct social support.
Idram says it has identified six priority areas: nature, children with health issues, children in orphanages, the elderly, equal opportunities, and defenseless animals. Supporting projects in those areas became the main objective of the event.
Hundreds of employees were divided into teams. By completing physical and mental tasks and working through a series of challenges, they earned points in the form of idcoins and then distributed those points among boxes representing the six focus areas.
After the event, the company will convert all idcoins collected by the teams into Armenian drams at a specified exchange rate and channel the funds into projects across the six directions.
Astghik Zilfimyan, Head of HR Division at Idram, said it is important for the entire team to feel part of the company’s policy and strategy. She noted that the company has a long-standing tradition of involving its full staff in social responsibility initiatives several times a year, and that this team-building event was also built around Idram’s six key CSR priorities.
That means the groundwork for the “City of Good Deeds” has now been laid through one day of joint effort by hundreds of Idram employees, whose participation will soon be reflected in projects across six CSR areas.
