Hyundai has released sketches of the new Bayon crossover, offering a first look at what the upcoming model may look like. The images show an angular body with pronounced lines, T-shaped front lighting and front fenders that appear wider than on the previous model. Visually, the new Bayon resembles the recently introduced Hyundai Tucson.
The interior sketches feature a futuristic layout. In the production version, however, Hyundai is expected to adopt a more practical and modern design. According to the report, the crossover may retain a wide display that combines the digital instrument cluster and the multimedia touchscreen, as well as a slanted center console.

Hyundai said the future Bayon will focus on technology and intuitive controls. That could point to new driver-assistance systems and electronics supported by artificial intelligence. At the same time, the sketches do not show the large screen of the Pleos multimedia system, which the company has been actively rolling out across its vehicles.
Hyundai has not yet disclosed the technical specifications of the new Bayon. The report says the engine lineup will most likely be based on gasoline engines, as the crossover is expected to retain its status as a budget model.
