Today, on July 1, the annual reporting forum of the Armenian Mining and Metallurgy Association (AMMA) was held, gathering representatives from governmental bodies, mining companies, and professional organizations to summarize the past year's activities and discuss the development priorities of the sector.
The forum was chaired by the vice president of the association, Susanna Martirosyan. The opening speech was given by the director of AMMA, Vardan Djahanyan, who emphasized the association's crucial role in strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Also addressing the participants was Asatur Vardanian, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia.
During the forum, Vardan Djahanyan presented the activity report for 2026–2027, highlighting the expansion of international cooperation.
He noted that active collaboration has been established with several reputable international organizations in the past year.
Two cooperation memoranda were signed during the forum, aimed at expanding collaboration in the sector.
