According to data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia, as of the end of June 2026, the volume of loans from Armenian credit organizations amounted to 447,969 million drams (448 billion). Compared to the comparable figure for 2025, the volume of loans increased by 53,399 million drams or 13.5%.
In particular, 31,592 million drams were issued to non-residents, while 416,377 million drams were issued to residents.
20.5% of the loans issued to residents, or 85,502 million drams, are foreign currency loans, the volume of which increased by 29.9% compared to the end of May 2025.
79.5% of the loans issued, or 330,875 million drams, are loans in drams, the volume of which increased by 16.5% compared to the end of May 2025.
