Armenian Prime Minister Meets with EU Member States Ambassadors

Topics of Armenia-EU cooperation were discussed during the meeting

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the ambassadors of the EU member states accredited in Armenia. The head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Vasilis Maraghos, also participated in the meeting.

Ambassador Maraghos congratulated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the results of the parliamentary elections held on June 7, 2026, in Armenia. The EU's readiness to continue close cooperation with Armenia for the strengthening of democratic values, stability, and development was emphasized.

Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked the European Union and member states for their assessments and congratulations regarding the elections. He highlighted the importance of EU support in advancing Armenia's democratic processes and reform agenda.

During the meeting, issues related to the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda were discussed. Opinions were exchanged on the reform agenda, strengthening the rule of law, economic cooperation, infrastructure development, energy resilience, as well as regional stability and peace.

Steps towards further deepening the Armenia-EU partnership were addressed. The continuity of high-level political dialogue and the expansion of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest were emphasized.
