At its September 15 board meeting, the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia decided to raise the policy rate to 6.75%.
Under the decision published by the regulator, the interest rate on lombard repo provided by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia was set at 8.25%.
At the same time, the interest rate on funds attracted from banks by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia was set at 5.25%.
The move means the regulator increased its main policy rate by 0.25 percentage points and updated the rates on its other instruments accordingly.
