According to data provided by the Statistical Committee of Armenia, as of May 2026, 5,741,686 customers were served in commercial banks in Armenia. This represents an increase of 701,324 or 13.9% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.
Of these, 5,503,764 are individuals and 237,922 are legal entities.
According to the presented statistics, as of May of the current year, the number of customer accounts in banks amounted to 12,600,788. This is an increase of 2,060,119 or 19.5% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.
Specifically, 12,135,673 of these accounts belong to individuals, while accounts for legal entities total 465,115.
