From August 3 to 10, during operations in the capital, Yerevan's patrol police detected 4,631 traffic violations, moving 238 vehicles to a secured area. Specifically, 170 drunk drivers were identified, along with 115 individuals without a driver's license. Violations included 77 related to registration plates, 888 for not wearing seat belts, 41 for not having child seats, 629 for smoking while driving, 306 for using phones while driving, 41 for pedestrians crossing in unauthorized places, and 1,561 other violations. 30 vehicles were operated without an insurance contract, 112 without passing technical inspection, 127 with faulty headlights, and 51 with tinted windshields. Additionally, 89 individuals were arrested on various suspicions and taken to community police departments. During the same period, patrols in the regions detected 15,456 traffic violations, moving 237 vehicles to secured areas. 312 drunk drivers were identified, along with 364 individuals without a driver's license. Other violations included 62 related to registration plates, 4,202 for not wearing seat belts, 317 for not having child seats, 496 for smoking while driving, 736 for using phones while driving, 74 for pedestrians crossing in unauthorized places, 2,635 for speeding, and 4,779 other violations. 87 vehicles were operated without an insurance contract, 745 without passing technical inspection, 492 with faulty headlights, and 134 with tinted windshields. 22 drivers were fined for using non-standard amplifiers while driving.
