The Firebird artificial intelligence factory has officially opened in Armenia, located in the city of Razdan and based on NVIDIA DSX AI technology. At the key stage of the factory's creation and financing, Ardshinbank acted as the initiator and leading financial institution, forming a syndicate of six financial organizations for the first time in the history of the Armenian financial-banking system.
The syndicate, in addition to Ardshinbank, includes ACBA Bank, Evocabank, Fast Bank, C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia, and Amundi-ACBA Asset Management Fund, which united around a single megaproject, providing Firebird with $300 million in funding. The total investment for the first phase of the project amounted to $450 million.
The official opening ceremony of the Firebird AI factory was attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, NVIDIA Vice President Rev Leberadyan, the US Chargé d'Affaires in Armenia David Allen, as well as representatives from government, diplomatic, technological, and business circles.
According to Ardshinbank Chairman Artak Ananyan, participation in this project is not just about financing but also about supporting a globally significant technological project.
