According to data published by the ՀՀ վիճակագրական կոմիտե, Armenia produced 14,689.8 tonnes of cheese in January-July 2026. That was 3.1% lower than the comparable figure for the same period of 2025.
The same data show that butter production rose by 27.4% during the reporting period to 2,069.3 tonnes. At the same time, milk output fell by 30.3% to 7,435.3 tonnes.
Cottage cheese production increased by 30.3% to 2,191.7 tonnes. Matsun production was up 19.2% to 7,538.0 tonnes, while sour cream output rose 2.8% to 4,513.5 tonnes.
Meanwhile, ice cream production declined by 1.4% to 8,504.8 thousand liters.
