The program of partial rent compensation continues in Armenia for certain categories of families displaced from Karabakh:
“Social support is provided for a period of 10 years. The amount of monthly support is 40,000 drams for each family member,” the statement says:
Under the program, partial rent compensation is provided to families who have waived their right to benefit from the state housing assistance program for families displaced from Karabakh:
The ministry stated that families eligible for the program must:
- consist of 1-3 members, meet the program's conditions, or have canceled the certificate received under the housing assistance program for displaced families from Karabakh;
- be registered in the queue for housing from the state social housing fund;
- have family members with permanent disability of the 1st or 2nd group, or permanent severe or profound functional limitation, or be aged 60 years or older;
- if the family consists of 2 people, the total age of family members must be 115 years or more;
- if the family consists of 3 people, the total age of family members must be 175 years or more.
The ministry reported that applications are accepted online through the website - housing.socservice.am. Before submitting an application, it is necessary to contact the territorial center of the Unified Social Service to register in the queue for housing from the state social housing fund.
