In Armenia, cashless card transactions reached $6.3 billion in the first half of 2026, accounting for 61% of the total volume. This is according to data from the Central Bank of Armenia.
As of June 2026, the share of cashless transactions increased by 23% year-on-year, while the total volume of plastic transactions exceeded $10.4 billion.
Visa cards continue to lead, making up 63.4% of total transactions, while Mastercard's share is 22.5%.
