Starting next month, Armenia plans to export up to 40 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables to the UAE weekly. This was announced by Armenia's Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on August 27.
During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation and implementation of investment programs, expansion of export opportunities for Armenian products, as well as establishing connections between Armenian producers and buyers and distributors in the UAE and other international markets were discussed.
Gevorg Papoyan presented the investments made in Armenia's agricultural sector in recent years and the production capacities that meet international standards.
At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed, which will create opportunities for organizing long-term and sustainable exports of fresh fruits and vegetables from Armenia.
