Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, David Khudatyan, will take part in the Global Forum on Sustainable Transport in Beijing. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed the decision authorizing the minister’s trip.
Under the order, Khudatyan will be in China from September 20 to 24. The forum itself is scheduled for September 22-23 and is being organized by China’s Ministry of Transport.
The event is aimed at promoting a transport system that is safe, efficient, green and inclusive. Participants are expected to discuss deepening global transport initiatives, strengthening connectivity between transport systems, prioritizing green transport, supporting sector transformation through artificial intelligence, and ensuring universal access to transport services.
For Armenia, participation in the forum offers an additional platform for engagement in the international transport agenda and for expanding sector-specific cooperation.
