YEREVAN, August 13. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia has presented two new regulatory projects for public discussion that are necessary for the implementation of the "Law on Crypto Assets".
According to the regulator's press service, the projects include the draft regulation 7/07 "Rules and Requirements for the Activities of Persons Providing Services with Crypto Assets," and amendments to the Central Bank Council decision No. 12-N dated January 26, 2026, which establishes requirements for the execution and storage (archiving) of registration records of transactions with crypto assets, their content, and the procedure for their submission to the Central Bank.
The Central Bank invites all interested parties to submit comments and suggestions on the projects by August 26, 2026, to the email address [email protected], indicating in the subject line of the email "Regulation of Crypto Assets." The email should include the name and surname, the represented organization if applicable, and contact details for feedback.
After summarizing the received proposals, the Central Bank intends to organize a meeting with representatives of individuals and organizations that submitted comments for discussion.
