Armenia's government extends support for greenhouse product exports

New products have been added to the support program

The Armenian government has extended the state support program for greenhouse product exports until July 2026 and expanded the list of subsidized goods.

According to the adopted decision, compensations will be provided to exporters of certain types of greenhouse products exported from Armenia during July 2026:

The amount of state support will be:

  • 770 drams per 1 kg of strawberries;
  • 275 drams per 1 kg of tomatoes;
  • 400 drams per 1 kg of cherry tomatoes;
  • 400 drams per 1 kg of sweet peppers;
  • 37 drams per one flower;
  • 50 drams per one flower exported to the EU, the UK, Northern Ireland, or Switzerland.

As noted in the government decision, the extension of the program for July aims to support Armenian producers of greenhouse products and stimulate exports.

On restrictions of Armenian products in Russia

Since June 12, 2026, Russia has restricted the import of all quarantine products originating from Armenia, as well as their transit through Russia to EAEU member states.

Under these restrictions, the Rosselkhoznadzor has included products such as "Jermuk" mineral water, alcoholic beverages, vegetables, fruits, and greens.

On support for exporters in Armenia

Amid Russian trade restrictions, Armenia has expanded support measures for exporters, particularly towards EU countries.

The government compensates transportation costs and customs duties for the supply of fruits, vegetables, and flowers to the EU, the UK, and Canada.
