The revenue of Armenia's telecommunications sector accelerated its annual growth from 1.5% to 5.7% in the first half of 2026, reaching 87.4 billion drams. This is according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
The telecommunications sector accounts for the lion's share of this revenue, contributing 93.3% or 81.5 billion drams, with an acceleration in annual growth from 2% to 5.9%.
In June alone, the revenue from the telecommunications sector grew by 4.7%, totaling 15.6 billion drams, of which 14.6 billion drams came from the telecommunications sector, marking a monthly growth of 6.2%.
For comparison, in the first half of 2025, the revenue of Armenia's telecommunications sector was 82.8 billion drams, with 93.2% or 77.2 billion drams coming from the telecommunications sector.
