"Nothing has changed regarding work in the CSTO; Armenia has frozen its membership for several years, and, in fact, we see no way back":
This was stated by Sargis Khandanyan, a deputy of the Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly, referring to the statement by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin that the issue of depriving Armenia of its voting rights in the CSTO could be discussed on November 11.
"We will follow the events and take note of the decisions made by our partners in the CSTO. I do not believe there are any circumstances or reasons to activate our participation in the organization.
You know what the issues are that led to Armenia's membership being frozen; those issues have not changed in essence to this day. We have not even seen any political statement condemning the events that occurred in 2022-23 regarding the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia," he said:
