Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Meets with EU Partnership Mission Delegation

The EU mission aims to support Armenia's resilience

Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, met with the delegation of the EU Partnership Mission in Armenia, led by Stefano Tomat, the Commander and Managing Director of Civil Operations of the EU External Action Service.

Grigoryan welcomed the establishment and deployment of the mission in Armenia, highlighting the multi-faceted support provided to Armenia by the EU in recent years.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further cooperation. Grigoryan expressed confidence that close cooperation between the mission and Armenian state bodies would contribute to the full and effective implementation of the mission's tasks.

The EU Partnership Mission in Armenia was established at the request of the Armenian government and began its work on July 13, 2026.

The mission will support Armenia in countering multi-layered threats such as cyberattacks, foreign information manipulation, and illegal financial flows.
