Armenia has placed second among the most affordable foreign destinations for Russian travelers for the 2026–2027 New Year holiday period, according to a study by travel planning service OneTwoTrip.
The study says the average one-way airfare from Russia to Armenia stands at 20,600 rubles, while one night in a hotel costs about 10,300 rubles.
Belarus ranked first, with the average flight priced at 10,800 rubles and accommodation at around 15,500 rubles per night. Georgia came third, where an airline ticket costs 20,900 rubles on average and a hotel night is estimated at 12,100 rubles.
OneTwoTrip analysts reviewed Russians’ travel searches for trips scheduled from December 28, 2026 to January 10, 2027 across the 100 most in-demand destinations in Russia and abroad. The ranking was compiled based on the average price of one-way air tickets.
Accommodation figures are based on bookings made during the previous New Year holiday period. The study reflects search demand and trip costs for Russian travelers and does not describe airfare prices for flights departing from Armenia.
