According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the meeting of the ministers took place on August 13 in Almaty during the session of the Council on Agricultural Policy of the Eurasian Economic Union:
Papoyan and Saparov discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in agriculture, increasing mutual trade turnover, implementing joint investment programs, as well as exchanging modern agro-technologies and experiences:
Additionally, they discussed cooperation in the effective use of water resources, irrigation systems, livestock breeding, and processing of agricultural products:
Papoyan particularly emphasized the potential for increasing supplies of Armenian agricultural and food products to the Kazakh market, including wine, fruits and vegetables, and fish:
