Armenia Plans to Start Fish Exports to Georgia

Armenia is negotiating with Georgia on fish product supplies

Armenia plans to start fish exports to Georgia. According to the news site Caspianpost.com, negotiations for fish product supplies to Georgia are already prepared.

The embassy emphasized that Armenia will continue cooperation with Georgia to expand trade and economic relations.

This intention from the Armenian side is due to the decision of the 'Rosselkhoznadzor', which has banned the import of Armenian products, including fish.

Russia has been systematically banning the import of various goods from Armenia since the end of May, and in the last two months, imports of many products, including fish, have been restricted.

The first restrictions were introduced against the backdrop of preparations for the parliamentary elections on June 7, and their number sharply increased after the victory of Pashinyan's party.
