Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the occasion of Canada Day:
The message states:
“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Canada on Canada Day. It was a great honor for me to host you in Yerevan this May during the 8th summit of the European Political Community. I fondly remember our meeting, which provided a good opportunity to discuss the Armenia-Canada cooperation agenda and outline directions for its further development. I am confident that this positive dialogue will give a new impetus to the deepening of the partnership between Armenia and Canada.
Armenia highly values the continued development of friendly relations with Canada, based on democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and mutual respect. I am hopeful that through our joint efforts we can further expand and strengthen our cooperation in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our two countries and peoples. I wish you good health and success, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Canada.”
