Armenia and Oman have agreed to take practical steps to develop opportunities for exporting Armenian fresh fruits and vegetables to the Sultanate's market as part of the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
This was reported by the press service of the Food Safety Inspection Body, referring to the results of the visit of the Omani company KV Group delegation, where discussions were held with relevant specialists about the export procedure for fresh Armenian fruits and vegetables to Oman.
The Deputy Head of the Inspection Body, Grigor Mkrtchyan, presented the guests with the requirements for exporting seasonal Armenian produce, particularly peaches, apricots, and tomatoes, by land transport.
It is noteworthy that since May this year, the Rosselkhoznadzor has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of all quarantine products from Armenia, including vegetables, fruits, greens, and dried fruits.
