Armenia and Kazakhstan Discuss Prospects for Cooperation in the Technological Sector

The meeting addressed issues of digitalization and artificial intelligence

Armenian Vice Prime Minister Mger Grigoryan met with Kazakhstan's Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev. The meeting addressed prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of digitalization, artificial intelligence, data processing centers, and other areas of mutual interest.

They emphasized the importance of implementing joint projects with leading global organizations. It is worth noting that this factory represents an advanced computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence, designed for training and launching AI models, as well as for solving large-scale and complex computational tasks.

The first phase of the AI factory, located near Razdan, is planned to be equipped with over 6000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs with a power of about 18 MW. The investment volume for the first phase of the megaproject is $500 million.

Subsequent phases of the project will significantly expand the computing capabilities of the infrastructure by equipping it with next-generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs, thereby forming one of the largest clusters of advanced AI computing power in emerging markets.
