The Chairman of Armenia's Water Committee, Aramazd Galamkaryan, and the Czech Ambassador to Armenia, Petr Piruncik, met in Yerevan to discuss ongoing and planned programs in water resource management, construction of reservoirs, and wastewater treatment in Armenia, as well as opportunities for expanding Armenian-Czech cooperation in this area.
Galakaryan emphasized that effective water resource management, infrastructure development, and modernization are among the priorities of the Armenian government.
He presented plans for the construction of approximately 25 reservoirs over the next 10-15 years, including the construction of the Kap reservoir.
The Czech side expressed readiness to provide expert assistance and present technological solutions.
