The Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and the Senior Advisor to the U.S. Special Envoy for Peacekeeping Missions, Arye Lightstone, discussed the implementation of the TRIPP project in Armenia and the launch of the AI Factory (Data Processing Center) by Firebird.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service, the meeting also included Konstantin Sokolov, President of the Trans-Caspian Enterprises Fund.
The interlocutors reviewed the progress of the TRIPP program and emphasized the importance of its practical implementation on the ground as soon as possible.
They also discussed support for regional connectivity, the use of existing competitive advantages in this area, and the prospects for the most effective integration of Armenia into the international transportation and infrastructure system.
Special attention was given to the developing cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and the launch of the data center — the 'AI Factory', being constructed as part of the first phase of the Firebird AI megaproject.
Mirzoyan and Lightstone explored opportunities and programs for trade and economic cooperation, as well as collaboration to strengthen Armenia's economic and energy resilience.
The parties noted the active dynamics of high-level mutual visits, the agreements reached, and the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Armenia and the USA. They assessed that the results achieved are also linked to the implementation of three memoranda signed in Washington on August 8, 2025.
The interlocutors highlighted significant events and achievements recorded after the Washington Peace Summit on August 8, 2025. They discussed the importance of the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan for realizing the region's development potential and possible steps to further strengthen it.
