Glovo users in Armenia can now pay for orders via Idram. The new payment option was officially announced at an event marking Glovo’s five years of operations in the country.
To use the feature, customers need to select Idram from the available payment methods when placing an order in Glovo and then confirm the transaction in the Idram&IDBank app.
The companies said they had first announced the partnership several months ago, when they signed a memorandum of cooperation at Glovo’s office in Barcelona. That agreement has now moved into implementation, making the service available to users.
Idram Chief Commercial Officer Grigoriy Yolyan said that while Idram and Glovo operate in different sectors, they share the same core approach: making digital services simpler, more accessible and more convenient for everyday use. In his words, the partnership is not only a new payment method, but also a sign that Armenia’s digital ecosystem can work with major international platforms and deliver practical value.
Glovo Armenia General Manager Tamar Kodzhaoglanyan said the development should be especially welcome for users, as Idram is the number one payment system in Armenia. She added that the company listens to customer demand, and that this partnership is the result of that approach.
According to the partners, the new option should make ordering and payment faster and easier. As part of the cooperation, Idram users will also receive special offers from Glovo and joint promotional campaigns.
