The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, welcomed representatives of the company Global Tribe Gaming on August 6. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister Edgar Zakaryan, Director of the Investment Support Center Foundation Gohar Abajyan, and Director of the Dvin Hotel Complex Artak Tovmasyan.
The company plans to create an international gaming, hotel, entertainment, and tourism complex in Yerevan in collaboration with the Dvin Hotel Complex and Seven Visions Resort & Places. The total estimated volume of the project is around $500 million, of which $40 million is planned to be directed towards the development of adjacent real estate, including the construction of an additional hotel tower. The project is expected to create approximately 1,000 jobs.
During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of the investment project, as well as tax, licensing, regulation, and payment systems in the gaming sector were discussed.
