The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, met with the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Saparov, in Almaty on August 13. The parties discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in agriculture, increasing mutual trade, implementing joint investment projects, and exchanging modern agronomic technologies and experiences.
They also addressed cooperation in the effective use of water resources, irrigation systems, animal husbandry, and the processing of agricultural products. Minister Papoyan emphasized the potential to increase exports of Armenian agricultural and food products, particularly winemaking, fruits and vegetables, and aquaculture products to Kazakhstan.
