The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Georgy Papoyan, participated in the seventh meeting of the EAEU Agro-Industrial Policy Council in Almaty. He presented the state of Armenia's agro-industrial complex and its development priorities.
Papoyan emphasized the need for the intensification of agriculture, increasing productivity, implementing modern technologies, and developing digital agriculture. The meeting also discussed issues related to the expansion of processing capacities, the development of 'smart' farms, drip irrigation, and satellite monitoring systems for land.
