The court decision regarding the application of a preventive measure against Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, will be announced tomorrow. This was reported by his lawyer Emin Khachatryan to journalists. According to him, the exact date for the start of the court session is still unknown.
Recall that on July 6, Gagik Tsarukyan was detained and taken to the Investigative Committee of Armenia. He is accused of organizing fraud and money laundering, causing damage of over $21 million.
The court approved the prosecution's request for Tsarukyan's arrest for two months on July 7.
