76.8 Million Drams to be Recovered from Gagik Beglaryan

The Prosecutor's Claim Has Been Granted

The Prosecutor's Office has reported that 76.8 million drams will be recovered from Gagik Beglaryan.

“The Prosecutor's Office of the Center and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan filed a lawsuit in the Anti-Corruption Court on September 3, 2025, against the former mayor of Yerevan, Gagik Beglaryan, demanding compensation for damages amounting to 76 million 822 thousand drams caused to the community:

By the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court on September 9, 2025, the lawsuit was accepted for proceedings. At the same time, the court granted the prosecutor's motion and imposed a lien on the property belonging to Gagik Beglaryan in the amount of the claim of 76 million 822 thousand drams.

The basis for the lawsuit was the factual circumstances established in one of the criminal proceedings.

By the ruling of the Anti-Corruption Court on July 7, 2026, the claim of the Prosecutor's Office of the Center and Nork-Marash was fully granted:
After the decision comes into legal force, 76 million 822 thousand drams will be recovered from Gagik Beglaryan in favor of the community of Yerevan as compensation for the damages caused,” the statement said.
