Fast Bank has received a B+ sustainability compliance rating from the German organization "Agents for Impact". This rating corresponds to the level of "GOOD". The assessment considers the quality of management, social responsibility, and environmental impact at both operational and strategic levels.
According to the report, Fast Bank's overall sustainability performance significantly exceeds the global acceptability threshold, highlighting its commitment to responsible financing, inclusive economic growth, and ethical governance. The rating also emphasizes the Bank's dedication to providing customer-centric services accessible to all social strata.
Misak Avagyan, the Bank's manager for environmental and social risk management, stated that the received rating reflects the Bank's significant progress and compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the ESG principles of environmental protection, social responsibility, and governance. "The rating opens new opportunities for developing and deepening the Bank's cooperation with international partners in sustainability-based initiatives and programs. It should also be noted that, according to the report, the Bank has made significant progress in integrating the practice of assessing environmental and social risks into its lending processes," he said.
It should also be noted that the assessment was obtained through an independent evaluation using the specialized AFISAR sustainability compliance rating tool. The Bank's sustainable development goals evaluated include poverty alleviation, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, support for inclusive communities, promotion of equality, and other processes. In the environmental sector, Fast Bank has also begun to develop fundamental systems for efficient resource use and raising awareness about the environment.
