Yerevan’s Yeraz Park will host Meghraton 2026 on 19-20 September, bringing together beekeepers, producers and consumers from across Armenia for the annual honey and bee products exhibition-fair.
The fourth edition of the event is designed to support sales of locally produced honey and other bee products by creating a venue for direct contact and cooperation between consumers, producers and sector organisations.
Visitors will be able to taste and buy honey and bee products from different parts of Armenia, including beeswax, bee pollen, propolis and cosmetics. The festival also offers small producers a platform to present their goods, expand market access and increase income.

Beyond sales and networking, Meghraton 2026 will showcase innovation in the sector. Participants and visitors will be introduced to AI-powered “smart hive” management solutions that help monitor conditions inside hives, including temperature and humidity, and analyse collected data for the early detection and prevention of diseases and other potential problems.
The programme will also include professional discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing beekeeping, along with workshops on bee disease prevention and management, technologies for producing bee products, and ways to promote them.
Services of the Beekeeping Forge Scientific and Educational Research Centre in Margahovit, Lori Region, will also be presented. The centre provides services aimed at improving the productivity and competitiveness of beekeeping enterprises. It was established through joint investment by the Beekeeping Forge Scientific and Educational Research Centre and the Sustainable Inclusive Growth in Mountainous Armenia (SIGMA) project, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Alongside the professional agenda, Meghraton 2026 will feature an entertainment programme with folk music and dance performances and a range of games.
The event is organised by Beekeeping Academy NGO in partnership with Beekeeping Forge Scientific-Educational Centre, with support from Acba Federation and the Sustainable Inclusive Growth in Mountainous Armenia (SIGMA) project.
