Yerevan Brandy Company and TUMO sign cooperation memorandum

The sides plan joint educational, cultural and charitable initiatives.

Yerevan Brandy Company and TUMO Center for Creative Technologies have signed a memorandum of understanding at the ARARAT Museum, combining their capabilities in education, creativity, innovation, and the development and international promotion of Armenian cultural heritage.

The partners said the cooperation is built around a shared goal of encouraging creative thinking in Armenia and helping shape an environment that supports innovation.

The memorandum also gives special attention to events marking TUMO’s 15th anniversary, where ARARAT Armenian Brandy will have a dedicated presence. To mark the occasion, the masters of Yerevan Brandy Company have created a unique bottle of ARARAT Armenian Brandy from the finest spirits kept in the company’s cellars. It will be offered as a special auction lot at the gala evening for TUMO’s 15th anniversary, due to take place in Los Angeles in the coming days.

Proceeds from the auction will support TUMO’s development and expansion, helping make its educational and creative environment accessible to new communities and broader audiences across Armenia.

The two sides also plan to deepen cooperation through future creative and cultural initiatives, projects in art, design, technology and innovation, as well as charitable and fundraising efforts.

The company said the broader cooperation framework was developed in line with Yerevan Brandy Company’s philosophy of responsible alcohol promotion, and any reference to the brand will follow established principles and standards of responsible communication.

Serge Khachatryan, COO of Yerevan Brandy Company, said mastery grows out of an environment that allows people to search, experiment, make mistakes and still believe in the result. He said Armenia has for decades been home to an organization that created and preserved such an environment, and added that the dialogue with TUMO would help create conditions in which a new generation can both discover its creative potential and find its own path to mastery.

Marie Lou Papazian, CEO of TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, said every undertaking should be guided by the pursuit of excellence. In her words, preserving heritage, developing it and taking it to the world requires an environment built on mastery and knowledge.
