Equinor Targets 27% International Production Growth by 2030

Equinor plans to increase international production from 750,000 to 950,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2030

Equinor plans to increase international production to 950,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2030, focusing investments in fewer, higher-return markets. The U.S., Brazil, and Angola will be key expansion areas.

Equinor's international production averaged 750,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the second quarter of 2026. The company expects this figure to rise to 950,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2030.

According to Executive Vice President Philippe Mathieu, "Equinor's international oil and gas portfolio is simplified, improved, and set for significant growth." Cash flow from production is expected to grow around 80% by 2030.

Equinor is actively developing its production in the U.S., Brazil, and Angola, while also pursuing exploration opportunities.
