The European Union and Ukraine have signed an agreement to expand joint production of drones. This initiative aims to combine the industrial capabilities of the EU with Ukraine's military technology expertise.
A significant innovation is that the production and temporary storage of drones will take place within the EU to protect them from Russian strikes, after which the equipment will be transferred to Ukraine or eastern flank member countries.
The program will be funded through EU support programs, and in the future, the parties plan to extend cooperation to the production of ballistic and anti-missile systems as well.
