The European Investment Fund (EIF) has teamed up with Poland's national development bank, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), to launch a €30 million venture fintech fund.
According to Finextra, the fund will direct its investments towards early-stage startups in Central and Eastern Europe.
The management of the fund will be handled by the Polish company Inovo.vc.
Its managing partner, Tomasz Świeboda, emphasized that “the next generation of global technology leaders will emerge from Poland and the region.”
