YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. The Dubai Duty Free chain has started accepting cryptocurrency for payments, according to Kommersant citing the press service of the Dubai government.
Users will be able to pay through the Crypto.com cryptocurrency platform at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum (AMIA), as well as online.
The Emirates airline has signed a separate agreement with the Crypto.com exchange. The carrier accepts digital currency for ticket payments through its website and mobile app. However, this option is only available when paying in the UAE's national currency - dirhams.
