JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and Citigroup chief Jane Fraser are set to attend a state dinner in Washington next week hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump in honor of Chinese leader Xi Jinping, according to sources familiar with the matter cited by CNBC.
The White House did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment. The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the guest list has not been made public.
CNBC reported that other senior executives are also expected to attend, including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Nvidia chief Jensen Huang. The dinner is scheduled for next Thursday.
CNBC also noted that Jane Fraser was part of the U.S. delegation of business leaders that accompanied Donald Trump on his trip to Beijing in May.
Reuters earlier on Friday was first to report the planned attendance of the two bank CEOs.
