The Ambassador of Armenia to Albania, Tigran Mkrtchyan, met with Albania's Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Erlind Sulo. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation between Armenia and Albania, with a particular focus on the energy sector.
Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the priorities of the Armenian government in the development of atomic, hydro, solar, and wind energy, emphasizing the importance of energy security within the national security system of the country.
The ambassador proposed initiating reciprocal visits between the relevant agencies of both countries and discussing the possibility of giving a legal framework to bilateral relations in the energy sector.
Deputy Minister Sulo highly appreciated the existing potential for cooperation, expressing readiness to promote practical collaboration between the two countries, including reciprocal visits, experience exchange, and implementation of joint projects. He also expressed interest in visiting Armenia and forming a partnership.
