On August 14, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan appointed David Tavadyan as the head of the State Property Management Committee of the RA.
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure presented Tavadyan's biography, which we present below:
"David Tavadyan was born on July 8, 1976, in Yerevan.
From 1995 to 1998, he studied at Dawson College in Montreal, Canada, majoring in Business Administration with a focus on accounting and taxation. He received a college diploma.
From 1998 to 2001, he studied at the Business School of HEC Montreal (L’École des Hautes Études Commerciales - HEC Montréal). He obtained a bachelor's degree in business management with a specialization in finance.
From 2002 to 2004, he continued his studies at the Business School of HEC Montreal (L’École des Hautes Études Commerciales-HEC Montréal). He earned a master's degree in sciences in international finance and information technology.
In 2006, he received the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Charterholder) from the CFA Institute in the USA.
In 2019, he completed the course "Business Analytics: Making Decisions Using Data" at the University of Cambridge.
In 2019, he completed the "Blockchain Strategy" program at the University of Oxford.
From 2001 to 2002 and from 2003 to 2004, he worked at BCA Research Group in Montreal, Canada, as a research analyst.
From 2005 to 2007, he worked at Commerzbank AG in London, UK, as an investment strategist.
From 2007 to 2010, he worked at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank in Moscow, Russia, as the head of the derivatives financial instruments department.
From 2010 to 2011, he worked at Citi Corporate and Investment Bank in Moscow, Russia, as the head of the derivatives financial instruments department.
From 2011 to 2013, he worked at Commerzbank AG in London, UK, as the head of emerging markets.
From 2013 to 2015, he worked at Commerzbank AG in Dubai, UAE, as the head of emerging markets. His areas of responsibility included equity capital markets, debt capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, fixed income financial instruments, currencies, and commodities.
His geographical responsibilities covered Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
From 2016 to 2022, he worked at Medkon, a medical company in Moscow, Russia, as a managing partner.
From 2019 to 2026, he worked at Kamertoon CJSC in Yerevan as a managing partner.
In 2026, he worked at Alliance Solutions in Yerevan as the deputy CEO.
From 2020 to 2022, he was one of the founders of the initiative "The FUTURE ARMENIAN" and led the work of the Futures Studio analytical center on a voluntary basis.
He is married and has one daughter and one son."
