YEREVAN — Investment company Cube Invest has become the first investment company in Armenia to launch its own bond issue on the local market, the company’s CEO Mikael Margaryan said at the Investment Perspectives 2026 forum in Yerevan.
According to him, the company has started placing bonds with a total volume of AMD 5 billion and expects the issue could be fully placed within the day. Margaryan said only a small portion remained at the time of his remarks and described the demand as a sign of confidence from partners as well as institutional and retail investors.
The bonds have a maturity of 36 months, while the nominal value of each bond is AMD 100,000.
Margaryan said the bonds will carry an annual interest rate of 10.5% for the first six months. In subsequent coupon periods, the rate will be floating and calculated as the refinancing rate of the Central Bank of Armenia plus 4 percentage points.
Commenting on the issue size, the Cube Invest chief executive said the company based the offering on its own financial indicators and funding needs.
The proceeds are planned to be used, in particular, to improve liquidity, develop and launch new products, and expand technical and IT solutions.
Margaryan said the company aims through these steps to broaden opportunities for investors and contribute to the development of Armenia’s financial market.
